Refresh with a little blue and white

 Refreshing Mint with forget me nots. Mint was the first thing that came to mind with refreshing, then blue and white combination.

Then I couldn't resist adding some poppies for pop!

A Kernel of truth?

Is there a kernel of truth in "you have to kiss a few frogs till you find the one"?

Or is that till you find your prince?

I think the frog looks more concerned of the two :)

Hitched?

Caw Caw Caw....."Lets get hitched?" 

Thats my interpretation of all the cawing going on.

Its a twitter fest of birds out there!

Back out to the garden, the weeds are winning :)

Sunday Flowers

Spring Joy

Everything is growing like crazy, fruit trees in bloom, the tulips which are all in pots on the deck to try and outwit the deer :)

Up up to the heights

 First there was lift off....

 Then up up to the highest heights......

Well then...what goes up comes down.

Watercolor for several art challenges. The garden is calling my name will try to post a flower painting soon. There is starting to be so much to choose from!

Mind you the weeds are winning :)

Curious Bunnies

There is curiosity, what is this? Mr Rabbits eggs have been decorated! The magic grows.......

Her Intentions were good

Her Intention to give Mr Bear a bath was a good one but....as she sang:

Soap, soap, soap and towel

Scrub your dirty bear,

Wash his knees will you please?

And do it all with care

Mr Bear got more concerned and very soggy!

Fluid, fluidity and rain and more rain

 

Mr Bear thought a horses gait was fluid....not so!

It was way more bumpy than expected and farther up in the air as well.

Then down came the rain and sleet....

He really wanted to go home, even if he had to ride on the back. Better hang on Mr Bear.

enough fluidity for one day, and very sore legs as well!

Looking Forward and Back

Looking forward to spring looking back at the setting sun.

Mr Bear is taking it all in. They are going to Grannies for dinner armed with a bouquet of tangerine tulips, looking back at a globe of fire setting.

Twirl Mr Bear

 Mr Bear wasn't too sure about this twirling game.

He felt a little dizzy.

Note the matching clothes no matter the season he is one fashionable bear, though he isn't to sure about the pink flowers :)

Mr Bear listened intently he was worried about his role in the preparations he wasn't sure he understood her expectations.

Peonies, wishing for spring and damask

 I am thinking of spring....inspired by Inspiration Ave challenge damask, just too slow getting it in.... but thought I would post to a few other spots. Paint Party Friday, Artists in Blogland, Diana Evans, and will add to Creative Everyday as well.

I should have planted more peonies in the fall but with all the daffodils and tulips I was planted out. Want to try to do a flower painting a week plus a children's illustration. For this weeks children's illo check here.
