Bouquet in season, lots of berries for the birds, maybe a Christmas Card? More seasonal than last week :)
A stretch for Illustration Friday Energy challenge but....berries are food for birds therefore their energy source!

I'm Taller than you are

When I read Illustration Friday Challenge of Tall I thought of giraffes, which I have painted before. Then I thought of stilts which I love... my oldest brother made me a pair of stilts when I was 9ish and I went up and down hill on them. The change of perspective was amazing only a foot or two taller and the world was a new place!

Puzzled by bubbles?

Puzzled by bubbles, they are there and then?

I sometimes use a bubble machine in storytime, lots of fun but saved till the very last because chaos is guaranteed! Little ones find bubbles magic.

Very late with illustration challenges this week, it has been a hectic few weeks :)

Bouquets wishing for spring

Spring bouquets playing with composition and background color.

There is dark for drama,
soft almost monochromatic or a little blue for melancholy. Which do you think works best?

All for Creative Everyday.

Twirl Mr Bear

Mr Bear wasn't too sure about this twirling game.

He felt a little dizzy.

A  photo of my messy desk and the original sketches for these paintings. I need to tidy up!

He also was dreaming of summer.....

Note the matching clothes no matter the season he is one fashionable bear, though he isn't to sure about the pink flowers :)

For several art challenges!

At the sink

At the Sink
The little helper. My children occasionally helped when they were little, as they grew older not so much....
But the fascination with all the water and bubbles was joyful if short lived :)

Inspiration the sink illustration friday challenge. A little paint party friday, artists in blogland, Sunday Sketches and Creative Everyday

Christmas is almost here, programs are finished at the Library. Puppet plays survived :) Holidays almost ready to begin, a year to reflect on.

Illustration Friday "Art Lesson"

Art lessons came to mind, my favorites were as a child going to a neighbourhood art class and having all the art supplies you could think of available. Being able to make as much mess as you wanted, total creative freedom.
