Books

Treasured books that recall the giver who led me to them. This edition of Gift From the Sea was from my Mother, it is a lovely hard bound embossed edition.

Other treasures, sketch books filled from childhood. Diaries. The gift of reading, writing and sketching.
It is great to have these to look back on, the writing is hilarious!

These paintings are so wonderfully gentle, I feel the same way about books. I appreciate the immediacy of Kindle but there's nothing like a real binding and pages book to make you happy.
Best,

That was one of my mother's favorite books. You have inspired me to go find a copy and read it again. Your beautiful paintings remind me of summer's spent reading in the porch swing.

I love this. It is one of my longtime and all-time favourite books, too. Such a lovely reminder.

Beautiful paintings, the love shines out of them. Proper, paper bound books are such a joy to hold, to handle and to curl up with to read.

Beautiful paintings to illustrate your love of books. Lovely sentiments too. I adore books! I've heard only good things about Gift from the Sea but haven't read it myself.
