Blushing peonies

Enjoying a week off, lots of painting should be doing more gardening!
The rain started this morning and kept up most of the day so I have a bit of an excuse. Mind you the weeds will grow like crazy.

First the frog: then the kiss?

This frog has been busy! This is the back story, perhaps this is the prince?

Someone to look up to

This is for the Watercolor Wednesday blog challenge "Someone to look up to" also for Sunday Sketches.
We all need someone to look up to no matter how old we get!
To parents and mentors what would the world be like if we didn't help and pass on what we have learnt?

Out of sight

The Easter Bunny hopped out of sight, ever wonder where he goes?
Well I think he is having a well deserved soak. Recovering from the leftover chocolate hangover and resting for next year.

Transitions in the garden, one over another begins. Warm weather has finally begun and the tulips will be over soon. I hope the peonies last longer :)

A Kernel of truth?

Is there a kernel of truth in "you have to kiss a few frogs till you find the one"?
Or is that till you find your prince?
I think the frog looks more concerned of the two :)

On my desk

Watercolors on my desk that were then added to and digitally collaged into spring flowers
and into flirting crows.
I thought I had a really tidy desk but on closer look I notice all the little messes.

Hitched?

Caw Caw Caw....."Lets get hitched?"
Thats my interpretation of all the cawing going on.
Its a twitter fest of birds out there!
Back out to the garden, the weeds are winning :)
