Creative Tuesdays challenge of Thanks prompted me to think of the thank you letter, will children even write them anymore? With all the devices that we use all the time will actual written letters even exist?
Feels like a really creative weekend, is there a question of quantity over quality?
Really trying to keep up with Creative every day challenge and a challenge it is!
Spoonflower challenge for a tea towel calendar, what do you think?

Wow those little girls are wonderful. Terrific paintings. And your calendar is fantastic. I love the orange colors. So glad i got to see this!
what a beautiful post - the line work, the coloring ~ all brilliant!
Lovely watercolout work
Your calendar towel is adorable
I like the colors
Your paintings are very sweet too they remind me of vintage little illustrations!
I still make my kids write thank you notes. I do think it is a dying tradition, though. I love the sweet looks on the faces in your art. Beautiful!
Oo, I love the colors as well! I think it's fantastic!
Your painting are fabulous. I have saved all the little notes and letters from my grandchildren...they are priceless.
beautiful pieces for both themes!
Such beautiful soft paintings of these girls, they are really lovely. Love the flowers and colour of the calendar as well.
I love your illustrations and your post in general. I encourage my littel girl to write thank you letters as there is something so special about "snail" mail that I would hate it if it became a lost art. She enjoys it so much she has asked a few cousins to be pen pals, only problem is she likes recieving more than writing :-)
very nice.... I like how you've created the girls' hair.. it looks real! :)
Even adults don't seem to write thank yous anymore! But your little girl drawing is just adorable....looks like an illustration for a poetry book.
I agree with Heather - these look like vintage illustrations... Wonderful!
(I love the vibrant colors in your calendar!)

Beautiful work- the girl at her desk is so delicate, and the sprays of flowers on the calendar and the blue/orange colour is also so delicate and lovely.
Thank you for your positive comments. The challenges that I participate in keep me motivated! I enjoy hearing opinions on the pieces that I post.
Lovely illustration. I love the colours in your tea towel too :)
Catharine, both of these are lovely, child like sweet and so needed a reminder for kids and all of us too actually. Great job. Love them. TY for doing these. I added the 2nd one to the montage.
Lovely paintings! I particularly like the adorable daydreaming face on the girl who is supposed to be writing a thank you note. The tea towel colors are great!
I love the idea of a little one writing a thank you letter!! Fantastic!
