The bee's intimate close up taste of early spring. Crocus were lovely till heavy rain :( over and done with, they are so fragile. Other flowers are fast emerging though and shrubs are leafing out, the birds are all a twitter.....
Exquisite work! The crocus are no more in the fields, but they live in this beautiful painting and we can enjoy their beauty, even if, as Kim said, we are still prisoners of winter. :)

This is stunning. We are still covered in white (well more dingy brown) snow here. This makes me excited for spring. Happy SS
