A little spring weather

 

We will go swamp tramping, with the fair weather dog who would wear shoes, hates the rain and loves to sleep. For Illustration Friday,  Watercolor Wednesday , Paint Party Friday , Monday Artday & Inspiration Avenue. I think rain must have been on the radar. More spring images here & here.



 Still playing with hellebore flowers these are mixed media on canvas, they are such a representative flower of spring. Rain doesn't seem to slow them up at all!

    Such perfect pure colours and those canvases look amazing... we have all needed wellington boots here this week too with heavy end of summer rains ...so perfect timing...xx

    Love your painting of the fair weather dog. I have one of those, had to take her to the vet yesterday in the rain, double the insult!

    I'm here from IA and got a big laugh at your dog with the galoshes. Too cute. I think I had a dog similar to that once. He was a hunting dog who hated the water!

    The colors are vibrant, and the design is lovely. Great face on the dog, and nice composition that the umbrella is shrouding the human's face. Love it!
