In Bloom

In bloom in the garden right now, after being in Toronto last weekend I realize how far ahead our gardens are on the coast. Spent the weekend planting tomato's, potatoes, cucumbers and more + flowers of course....
And painting of course! Top painting a bouquet, second a pattern which do you prefer? For illustration Friday universe....a big stretch....flowers are the universal messenger of love and affection?

The cottage is dripping in wisteria!
The inspiration for the paintings fresh from the garden. For the seasonal flower alliance

Picking the first of the sweet peas, Icelandic poppies and peonies. Not sure of the name of the pink round flowers? They have a lovely scent.
Prints are available in the shop

Stretch or not, your flower paintings are STUNNING! So soft, & sensitive! Thanks for sharing! And yes! That cottage looks like a delightful place for tea! :)

Thanks for all your comments. I realize that in the cottage picture the lawn needed mowing! Will have to take more photos to show we do do tidy up a little even though it's all pretty wild :)
