At the sink

At the Sink
The little helper. My children occasionally helped when they were little, as they grew older not so much....
But the fascination with all the water and bubbles was joyful if short lived :)

Inspiration the sink illustration friday challenge. A little paint party friday, artists in blogland, Sunday Sketches and Creative Everyday

Christmas is almost here, programs are finished at the Library. Puppet plays survived :) Holidays almost ready to begin, a year to reflect on.

  3. Beautiful painting! When I get mine to help with that particular chore we still need to have the mop and bucket handy:)

  7. What a lovely little helper! I always hated having to help with the washing up though... I preferred to make the mess (some things never change!!)

  11. This is so sweet, and you captured it perfectly.

It's true, I could keep my son occupied with a few cups and sink full of bubbles for hours.

  14. Now this painting reminds me of me when my Grandma used to put a chair in front of the sink so that I could help her wash dishes. First the plates, then the cups...etc.Beautiful soft painting. Ah memories, thank you for igniting precious memories. Happy Holidays to you.
